01 / RULESHow ranking works

• Every accepted rep adds one squat to the selected startup.
• All Time ranks the total accepted squats recorded for each startup.
• This Week and Today count accepted squats recorded during those periods.
• Equal scores keep the order produced by the board's ranking calculation.
• Sponsored placements are advertising only and never add squats or improve rank.

02 / RULESWhat you can list

• A real startup, product, application, website, or digital business.
• A working public URL that safely leads to the listed project.
• Accurate names, descriptions, and destinations that you are authorized to submit.

Spam, duplicate listings, deceptive redirects, malware, unlawful content, impersonation, and unsafe destinations may be edited, hidden, or removed.

03 / RULESA valid squat session

• A real person must complete the movement live in front of the enabled camera.
• Shoulders, hips, knees, and ankles must remain visible enough for movement checks.
• The live hand-raise challenge must be completed before counting begins.
• A rep must include a detectable descent, sufficient depth, and a return to standing.
• Once the live hand-raise check passes, a successful submission credits exactly the clean-rep total shown on the Finish & submit button.
• Movement diagnostics may flag a session for private review, but they do not silently subtract individual reps from a successful submission.
• A single session counts up to 250 reps. Submit that score and start another session to continue.

Friends, teammates, customers, and community members may all contribute, provided every submitted session consists of their own genuine live squats.

04 / RULESNo cheating

Cheating, score manipulation, and attempts to bypass squat verification are prohibited.

You may not use or attempt to use:

• prerecorded, looped, generated, altered, or replayed video;
• virtual cameras, pose overlays, deepfakes, multiple feeds, or substituted camera input;
• bots, scripts, macros, automated movement, fabricated measurements, or forged requests;
• modified client code, manipulated session tokens, developer-tool tampering, or API abuse;
• another person, object, screen, or system presented as the person completing the session;
• bugs, race conditions, repeated requests, or any other exploit intended to inflate a score.

05 / RULESDetection and enforcement

We may use automated integrity checks, rate limits, movement measurements, session records, technical signals, and manual review to identify suspicious or invalid activity. We do not have to disclose our detection methods, thresholds, or evidence when doing so could weaken abuse prevention.

If we detect or reasonably suspect cheating, manipulation, exploitation, or coordinated abuse, we may reject reps, invalidate sessions, reduce or delete squat records, suspend participation, or remove a listing without advance notice or individual notification.

We may also correct scores affected by tracker errors, duplicated sessions, database errors, or other technical problems. Enforcement decisions are made to protect the integrity of the board and may be revisited when new information becomes available.

06 / RULESSafety first

Exercise at your own pace in a clear space. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness, or unusual discomfort. The tracker estimates movement for leaderboard purposes; it does not assess exercise technique, health, mobility, or injury risk and is not medical advice.

07 / RULESSponsors

• Every paid placement is clearly labelled Sponsored.
• Placements are sold one at a time in slot order, starting at US$100; each next slot costs US$100 more and cannot be purchased early.
• Once checkout reserves the current slot, the next slot becomes available even while the earlier payment or review is pending.
• Payment submits a sponsor application for manual review; it does not publish the sponsor.
• Rejected paid applications are fully refunded to the original payment method.
• Each placement runs for the period stated at checkout.
• Buying a placement never adds squats and never changes leaderboard rank.

08 / RULESAgreement and updates

By listing a startup, recording a squat session, or purchasing sponsorship, you agree to these Rules, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. We may update the rules as the tracker and leaderboard evolve. Questions may be sent to eldevvision@gmail.com.
